I agree completely. The most annoying thing about Supreme Court cases is precedent. So to properly study one case, you end up having to read many others.

Glad my constitutional law days are behind me.

Yea that's true. Normally they quote the pertinent parts of those old cases so it's not too bad. In law school though you don't read recent cases, all the cases we read are quite old and really annoying to read. I would much prefer if they were all written like Lord Denning's.

Yea, when I studied constitutional law in Uni it was always the old flagship court cases from decades ago. Plessey vs Fergeson, Brown vs Board of Education, Dredd Scott etc.

That class alone convinced me not to go to law school :p

Law sounds so boring. One of my good friends studies it, and I've seen his subjects and they sound so dreary and tedious.

Not sure if it's worth the pile of cash waiting for you once you graduate.

Criminal law is very interesting. We've just started doing homicide :)

I wouldn't say that. I've never taken a law course, but I'd presume parts of it would be quite interesting and that the work and monotony for a few years would well be worth a long and successful future.

Probably would still prefer engineering though, Physics and Math ftw.

Physics and Math? Bleh, that's just confusing. And Law does sound dreary. I have no idea how my mate can put up with all those tedious essays he has to do.

But maybe I'm bias. I love the degree I'm studying, and for me personally, studying the human body and how to cure it is so fascinating.

Each to their own ;) Every single one of my friends who doesn't do law thinks its boring. I like most subjects so most things don't really bore me.

Well I could have done a BEng or a BSci and been fine, and enjoyed it. (Probably not a BA though :p)

The most boring subjects I have come across is Cost Accounting. I absolutely hated it. My favorite subject was Marketing. How I ended up in Finance is probably fate? :facepalm

You know what's really boring? That new film that came out a few weeks ago, 'The Way Back'. Over 2 hours of people just walking. Such a snooze-fest.

Don't get me wrong - it's a powerful film that shows the struggles people in WWII communist Russia had to endure. But it's not a film you can sit through for 2 hours.

It's true, I read it on the internet and everything.

Even if they post the pictures, it won't stop it. Claims of photoshopping, etc. Mind you, can't disagree with the notion that politicians aren't trustworthy!

*goes off to find Elvis.
