Wow man, that sounds so heavenly! The education system here in India is so insanely bad. Coursework comprises of 3 cycles of Unit Tests and we have to obtain a minimum mark of 50 to pass our main exams, regardless of what we secured over the Unit tests. :/



47% and 45% off 50? So all you need to obtain in order to pass is only 6% in Eco and 10% in A.S? Lucky SoD lol.

Most papers you still have to get 50% in the exam to get a pass mark though.

Aah, It doesn't happen many times when here in India you have a full page on a sport other than cricket in sports section. Even Wimbeldon doesn't get it. Indian Grand Prix has managed to make headlines! Quite a feat, I'd say. Glad that Indians are finally taking interest at sports other than cricket.

Indians have always taken interest in other sports then Cricket. Its just that they go crazy when it comes to exciting rivalry cricketing series. If Grand Prix is held every year in India you will soon see many getting addict to car racing sports. Who knows, may be in another 5-10 years we might have a Vettel in India

Yes indeed, India's national sport is Hockey. Its disgrace to see national sports surrounded much like Pakistan's cricket full of controversies. Recently in a India Pakistan hockey match they had a fight during the match due to which it was called off. Thats really a shame, wish BCCI could take over atleast something would be better then nothing also Hockey Association does not have money and people are least interested nowadays.

Talking about Sports, Kabbadi World Cup just started today with opening ceremony including Shah Rukh Khan and Punjabi Singers. Previous WC held last year and India won with Pakistan being runner ups. Punjab is hosting it because it is a mother sport (much like mother tongue?) here. It has as big importance to Kabaddi as much as India has to Cricket.
