Random Thoughts

Spent 4 hours in the police station last night and got a dislocated shoulder for my troubles and my friend ended up getting done for assault. Not happy with my friend for keeping me up all night cause of her stupidty, the bouncer for dislocating my shoulder when I was trying to calm everything down or the police for not listening to me (I was sober for the record!) and only arrested my friend and not the bouncer (hello he dislocated my shoulder!!!!)

On a lighter note, I've started playing competitive snooker again, for the first time in about 6 years.

Our team play the Royal Mail tonight in the cup, I'm presuming we have to collect them from the depot...

My form is picking up again, some decent breaks at the weekend session, nothing huge, but more of 'em.

Nice one :)

I'm awful at snooker but I love playing it. What would be your biggest break when playing ok?

I think mine is still about 24. Once. Then about 16...

Just started playing footy again myself after almost 7 years without playing. Last night was my third game back in the sticks and whilst the pain has certainly died down from the first game I do seem to have aggravated my cricket shoulder injury, and added new ones to my knee and ankle. Cricket masked how unfit I'd become haha

83, but that was a long time ago and I'm nowhere near that at the moment. Set myself a mini-goal of a half-century before end of the year. Our best player (who is also 78!) has hit centuries, and there are a few other players in the league who have hit centuries. It's highly competitive.

Got my cue re-tipped month or so ago, very different to my last one and just about got used to it. Starting to all come together now.

On my old mini snooker table that I used to have in my bedroom I racked up a few breaks of 20s and 30s. Can't remember my highest. Would love to get back into it sometime.

Any way to get rid of these 'warts' without experiencing much pain? That would mean without undergoing laser treatment, etc. Was quite painful the previous time I underwent that, while getting rid of a wart just beneath my right eye. Annoyingly enough, this one's developed right over the eye-lashes of my right-eye and has luckily remained the same size for over a month now. Really want to get this thing off my face for good. Suggestions appreciated, thanks.
