I wonder what they are doing now... maybe they are all busy with a wife and kids

lucky im only 18

Possibly, doubtful however, difficult find the right woman who really understands cricket and our passion for it ;)

Cricket is too bloody complex for women. They are always more interested in cricketers rather than cricket.

I've taught my gf the rules of cricket and the off side rule and she has now taken to watching matches with me and enjoying them. That's why I know she is a keeper :p

:facepalm

About as enlightened as a squashed slug.

See my partner does like cricket and will watch football... and that's fine... except don't sit next to me when my team is losing and actually answer my rhetorical questions like "Oh my god, how haven't you scored!?!" with unhelpful things like "Because they're crap and they always do this."

I don't like having to get the backhand out, but sometimes.... sometimes saying shut up just isn't enough :spy :p

A keeper... why's that? She's got good hands :p

I was kidding about the first part. But as far as women in Pakistan are concerned, I am right about the second part. They absolutely dig cricketers even when they know nothing about the sport itself.

Nothing changes. Seeing the topic above about getting girlfriends into/understanding cricket, been attempting that recently. She's slowly grasping the basics. As easy as teaching a dog the Russian language.

I don't mind people from foreign countries, as long as they are either tourists or picking vegetables for .50c/hr.

That's not racist right?

Sounds just like the Good Old American Dream to me.....

Ah tourists. Don't you just love 'em. How they can get so annoyed at you when they ask you something perfectly reasonably in their own language and are stunned and hurt to the bones when you look at them blankly. It is also interesting to note how they then start speaking very loudly and slowly in the strange conviction that the increase in decibels and decrease in word-rate will miraculously translate what they are trying to say....
