Nothing changes. Seeing the topic above about getting girlfriends into/understanding cricket, been attempting that recently. She's slowly grasping the basics. As easy as teaching a dog the Russian language.
What would be easy is teaching a dog the universal language of girlfriends - since virtually all dogs already know how to whine... ;)

Did he at least run towards the ball? I remember running as far away from the ball as I could in pony basketball when I was a kid.

I love little children's football: it is just one massive herd, all centered around where they think the ball is, all of 'em, like wilder-beasts around a watering hole, moving aimlessly around the pitch, a blinding whir of legs and arms and somewhere in the middle of it all is supposedly a ball......

He did run about after the ball, he ain't really sure what to do when he gets it,, he just likes kicking it as hard as possible

And Dutch, yeah kids football is pretty much well described by you from what i witnessed today.
There was like 2-3 kids who actually were really good, the rest literally didn't have a clue, bless them, when they played a big sort of match at the end it was like flies round a $h1t!!

My son is a natural when it comes to cricket. He hits the ball real hard. He only likes batting though.

Congrats Mark. Nice to have job offers at all! Would be good for you to experience that there are people living outside of Texes. Might even broaden your points of view......nah, that's going too far!:p

Good luck with it mate and keep us up to date. Might one be allowed to ask what the job is?

Pay in Chicago is much higher, a tax bracket higher, I just don't like the cold.

Don't have to decide until August either way

Filing a non immigrant student visa for USA and have an interview for it on Monday. Got accepted in California State University as a transfer exchange student for Bachelors in Computer Science.

Really hope I get selected as my whole career depends on it

I'd say it was children more than Indians specifically. I can't help but feel PC resembles a day creche sometimes :p
