- 2 players from Europe v 2 players from USA
Each player plays their own ball - lowest score per hole wins the hole. Whoever wins must holes wins that game and gets 1 point
4 matches of four balls days 1 & 2

So 8 points on offer

Foursomes
- 2 players from Europe v 2 players from USA
Each team shares one ball - they take it in turns after each shot. Lowest score per hole wins the hole. Whoever wins must holes wins that game and gets 1 point

Singles
Each player from Europe plays a player from USA
each match lowest score wins the hole. Whoever wins most holes wins that team a point
