Retirements Thread - Virat, Rohit and Jadeja T20Is

Every cricketer retires one day and today, Gauti retired. But I didn't think that this day would come very soon. He played very well in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and he continued his form in the Ranji Trophy too. He shouldn't have done that.

Tomorrow, in school, my friends will tease me by saying that an old man retired. :noway:noway
You can reply to your friend that the old man has achieved more than what you can dream of.

Hafeez will be remembered as a man who couldn't fulfill his talent.

Suggest them wct20 & wc GG highlights , if they ever celebrated India's victory !

History remembers only kings , lets not forget the soldiers !

Farewell Yuvraj Singh! Have a nice post retirement life.

Would've wanted to see him this WC but he had an amazing career. Wish him luck for his future life

In an ideal world Yuvraj Singh wouldn't have made to India's One-day squad once CT'17 got over. Unfortunately health issues and the age-factor got on top of him

This world is an imperfect one but it's the only we've got. - Tony Stark :p

Thankyou Yuvraj Singh for all the amazing memories. One of my all time favorite player and when one on song the most pleasing player to watch.

Thanks Yuvraj Singh you been a great player and enjoyed watching you bat, I will never forget that six sixes in a over against Stuart Broad, will still love to see him play in other leagues like in England, Australia, Bangladesh etc, even PSL haha but I doubt it.

So , Ambati Rayudu retires amidst the drama of BCCI . That was on the cards . :(

The right player at the wrong time for India. Would have been a regular keeper batsman in ODIs in any other era without any doubt.

regular keeper batsman

Hope you weren't serious :D

Rayudu is probably the worst keeper I have seen in my life tbh. He was not just cut for it. Don't know why the most expensive team in IPL asked him to keep wickets. Please don't say it was Sachin's call I just can't agree to it.

Well, i can't put myself in his shoes, but i'd keep playing IPL just for the money. I know, i am very materialistic :p

He would have been a much better option than the likes of Mongia and a better keeper (if trained better) than Dravid who was also one of our most important batsmen. He would have definitely been a regular in any other era. Had he not participated in ICL, we might have seen him become one of the cornerstones of the current lineup too. The bloke possessed far too much potential that went unfulfilled. :([DOUBLEPOST=1562429716][/DOUBLEPOST]

He’s been having issues with the BCCI for a long time, not surprised that he’s chosen to ‘retire’. Wouldn’t be surprised if he popped up in a T20 league somewhere in the near future too, just to piss them off yet again.
