I could see him coming back if he was asked - if things get that desperate.
The state of English cricket might demand him to make a return. I still feel it is a move that would backfire.
The expectations from the English side are a tad unreal. Liken them to what Sri Lanka faced after their high on 1996. They flopped terribly in the edition that followed as their template of gameplay had been taken up by the other teams. England faced a similar uncertainty. Add to that, they do have a dearth of classical ODI players in their ranks. It is either go high or go bust and this strategy could flop anyday (remember what happened to NZ in the CWC 2015 finals?)

I would say that normally it would be unfair to the other blokes who have put in the hard work in domestic cricket to impress and earn a chance but given that none of them will ever conceivably play OD cricket (other than any ‘A’ games or ODIs) in the near future… ehh have at it ECB.

Not a retirement per se.. but Trent Boult has pulled out of his central contract with the NZ Board. This essentially gives him the freedom to pick and choose his series if he desires and also means that the board doesn’t have to pick him in most games. I expect him to retire in the white ball formats after the respective World Cups and to skip out of the few rare test series overseas that NZ play anyways.
I don’t think they’ll be able to replace him easily at all. There is no left-arm pacer in contention for a call-up and after a period of time where he looked like the weakest out of the four pacers, Boult had been back to his best. I’d even argue that there is no replacement that is even in the same ballpark at the moment. If anything this should force them to select Ajaz as a regular in every game but we all know how the NZ management rolls.

Suresh Raina have officially retired from all forms of Cricket.
Had he focused a little more on the game, he would have been the number one finisher for us in today's date.
I can clearly remember how many times have him and dhoni saved India from a total collapse, and then converted it into a decent total to live by.

A messy situation all around. Hope he's still around for parts of NZ's domestic season as I feel he's got plenty to offer there.
A very bold prediction but I believe Williamson will eventually follow a similar path to Boult and CdG in the near future once he realises that he's never going to get to the vaunted ATG status as long as he never plays tests consistently for NZ which is unlikely given how averse they are to organising them. He was supposed to be Crowe's equal if not better a few years ago and yet now Crowe is being seen as the better batsman due to Williamson's questionable away record. When his chances of attaining legendary status in global cricket dwindles and he's relegated to nothing more than being content with ATG status for New Zealand he'll most likely just follow the bag. He's also been a part of three very painful final losses having captained the side in two of them and those take a toll on you eventually mentally.
As for Mushi, he never quite cracked the T20I format like he did the other two. Had a few memorable knocks but consistency was by and large missing.

Prime Raina was very integral to our side. His weakness against the short ball was unsalvageable though especially after his fitness problems started making them worse. Easy for me to say that he underachieved but the lad did suffer a lot of injuries.

I doubt MSD will walk away from a lucrative IPL contract as long as he can still be serviceable. I also think Raina's too washed away having barely played any games in a long time to be of use in overseas T20 leagues these days but time will tell.
