Retirements Thread - Virat, Rohit and Jadeja T20Is

I shocked, When I get know the retirement announcement... Captain, 3 month away from World Cup and this announcement... Wow...

He lasted longer than 24 hours to be fair
ECB should've hired Papon then. Would've gotten even Marcus Trescothick up and running for the third ashes test by now, by arranging a special visit to Queen Elizabeth King Charles in the Buckingham Palace :p

Actually ,Tamin does join the ranks of Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan. People often do not talk about Younis Khan, but he honestly was another person who kept threatening the PCB with retirement until he got his way.

As for Tamim's future- if BCB are going to install Litton as captain, the Asia Cup* might be a litmus test for Tamim. Failure to perform there might see him being left out of the Word Cup squad as well.

There’s no universe in which they drop Tamim for the WC if he wants to play in it. It would be a huge controversy with ripple effects beyond cricket should it happen.

Tamim: I retire!
BCB: No, come back.
Tamim: Okay, fine.
BCB: Now you're dropped.
