So your tier A bowler takes a 5-for and ours goes at 12rpo without a wicket. Hmm...

Time to reveal what my testing showed me. Marshall could be more destructive than Barnes on some occasions, but inevitably went for more runs. Marshall also did a better job at wiping out the tail. However, I needed a bowler to bowl well to top order batsmen and suit more conditions, hence I picked Barnes out of the two.

As for batsmen - Hobbs and Gavaskar both managed centuries in my testing, but had the annoying habit of getting a slow start and then getting out. Viv scored quicker and while didn't manager centuries, was more likely to score around 30. Hence me picking Viv.
