Dublin Destroyers vs. Beijing Blitzers
@ Rebbit Gardens
Welcome to Rebbit Gardens as Dublin attempt to finally win a match beat Beijing in what has been a highly anticipated encounter so far. Dublin have twice the support tonight as all the Man D fans are rooting for them to win. A loss for Beijing will give Man D some breathing space at the top of the table, and restore some of Dublin's shattered pride. However, Beijing will want to seize this chance to move to the top of the table, defying all logic odds. Dublin opt to bat first on an Uneven wicket, lets head down to the ground...

The final scorecard for first innings was :
Score: 172
Wickets : 4
Overs : 20.0
A massive score amassed here by Dublin, and the crowds are alive with the chance of a Beijing defeat! Losing 3 wickets in the first 3 overs was not the start Dublin wanted, Flower and Simbazz throwing their wickets away and Highlander chancing his arm once too often, but enter the legendary Jack Hobbs and DD's leading runscorer Offcutters. Together they rebuilt the innings with a terrific 112 run partnership. Hobbs went on the assault early, taking apart Shantanu and Surendar and negating the threat of the new ball with violence, racing to 42 off 22 balls after the powerplay. He brought up his fifty off 32 balls, and ensured that with 84 runs after the first 10 overs, they could afford to take their foot off the gas. The trio of NP10, Giggity and Bladescape, who had done so well so far, lost their edge, and runs were milked with ease. Hooper played a fine cameo at the end after Giggity got rid of Offcutters, and Dublin are in with a fantastic chance of beating Beijing. Don't write BB off though, they have stunned us in the past, and with the most dangerous batsman of the tournament so far in their team, they might just continue to surprise...
