Great win! Our star players really came through for us.

The pitch was tough to bat on yes, but our top 5 should have looked to play safe and for long hours in the first innings. Second innings, well it was going to be only one result since Murali was bowling at his best. I thought our spinners should have used the pitch to their advantage as they did because our seamers on the other end especially Stokes were bowling really well. Had the spinners been able to breakthrough, they would not had been able to stitch partnerships. Anyway, good lessons learnt, we can apply that in the coming matches.

Well that's disappointing. We really needed our batting to show some resilience, but Murali was just too good for us. Well done to the Demons, apart from Stokes's first innings brilliance with the ball, you pretty much outplayed us throughout. We'll have to regroup and put some hours in the nets in preparation for our next tricky fixture. UTS!!
