Sam's ExE Patch

Leave the curosr thing, it makes the game much, much better, it is not realistic if you can see where the balls gonna pitch, walk over to it and smack a six.

This new cursor visibility has really improved the game for me, top stuff Sam! :)

well think about it, sam should at least release one that has the cursor in it. that way pathetic people like me who suck at batting can still do decently in matches. It's not like Sam's going to remove the one without the cursor. Further, you definately do not have to use the one wiht the cursor.

yeah, the cursor hiding before the ball is bowled has really improved the game more then i thought it would, great work Sam!

If the animations were faster the curser hide would be fun, but since the batsman move so slow grrr

yes im sure many luv the cursor hiding but some dont so plz can a version be released without the cursor hiding

questions

1. Do bowlers bowl any swing, the swing cursor doesn't move for the cpu bowling,

2. i'm unable to move my batsman once i see where the ball is pitched, exp ball pitching outside off, i want to use footwork to get it away, but my guy wont move, so i can't hit it

I have to agree with the above posts. Some players want the bowling cursor visible, while others don't. Personally, I find it quite difficult to play without the cursor. Surely, there can be a non-cursor version and a cursor verson.

having been sceptical I actually love the cursor hiding now. I think it improves my shot selection by giving me less time to think...

My thoughts exactly - I was dubious with no cursor at first, but having less time has made my shot selection better also - you are just given enough time to make your choice !!

The bowling cursor hiding does look real good. But, the CPU pace bowlers are not swinging the ball at all. Notice that the dot always remain on the seam.

The CPU has not used spin bowlers against me in this match yet. Hence, I am not sure whether there will be any spin too.

i think that part is just disabled so we cannot see how htey are going to swing, spin the ball. its like in cricket 2002 where we could not see where they were putting hte seam cursor

Is this the case Sam. Could you please clarify?

I did not see the ball swing at all when using the exe.

everyone, thanks for the comments,how about CPU no-balls?
for people who requested to enable cursor,i have attached a loader:D

The runout bug not been fixed ,its really complex to fix
A.I for cpu taking runs may be like this

Byes bug:Have u guys noticed,when a no-ball with that super slow slow ball is bowled the keeper seems to pick it:P

Take run when
{
[some conditions]
calculate ball pos to fielder pos and get the near fielder pos;
if near fielder == some preset pos
{
Take a run
}
if not {
don't run
}
[again some conditions]
}

zim,if the default field not there in *.GOB,it got to be in EXE, the custom fields are in the bottom user-(Your nik) file.

cheers

Just on a cursory glance 2251648 and onwards (decimal offset in the exe) deserves some attention in relation to fields. I could be wrong...
