I think you are completely pointless.I am from South India but not always in favour of South Indian Cricketers and I don't think He (@lionhearts) is one such person.

LOL. I feel awful defending Sreesanth. Dislike him a lot for throwing away his talent and being a d*ck.

But, its quite possible that Sree's arrest sent alarm bells ringing in Srinivasan's "family" and they tried to make a worse example for him than was necessary. A good distraction from the other sh!t that was about to blow up. OR maybe, I have been watching too many movies off late !

Either way, I would wait for the courts to decide on him before labelling him a cheat. Innocent until proven guilty

Players like Shreesanth have made cricket very very dirty. That man hires a prostitute. Cricket is called "gentleman's game" but what we observed was very disappointing. It much more disappointing that people like lionhearts are favouring him.

I am also of the oppinion that medias are pointless with their reports and uses to report more news which defame others just to increase ratings.I too doubt his involvement for there has been no good proofs just to believe so.But I don't think BCCI would just ban a person for no reason.There would be some reason for them to think him to be guilty of it and I don not think the police accused him for no reason,but we are in no situation of making the statement of whether he is innocent or not and only time can tell the truth.

One reason I think for why people believe him to be guilty is that,he was a noted person before this issue, for his misbehaviours.His actions and arrogance earned him many haters and when these people got a chance to hit him,they did,thats all.

That's a point i was wating for this kind of views .Ban that's a procedural step taken by all boards ,will wait for court hearing on tomorrow,you had a good idea about what's going around & you are not over depending or believing media facts or others words that's a keen observation of news well done mate

man not again i don't say you to believe & take my words & follow my path the thing which i'm trying to point out a fact is that to rove a person's innocence ,you can't accept anyone's words but you are beliveing media & police too much there where no escort girls with sreesanth is was a total fake news spread through media & police the same media & police had made as fool many times & but in sreesanth's case all fake new was broken later police claimed that there where no one with sreesanth during his arrest,& mubai police has been cut off sreesanth's name from charge sheet from that we can understand that there is no need to see him as a crime committed person .i'm not telling you to believe him just stop this kind of believe to fake new & wait for the court judgement

As a Sree fan you have the right to support the player and believe he is innocent, but you cant clear him of the charges against him, if you have such evidence you should be there in court bailing sree out instead of gathering support here.

But as a cricket fan there is not enough 'Hard facts' out there to say he is truly innocent or guilty.
'Innocent Till proven Guilty' is a good rule to go by in this case.But it stops at not accusing sree, it doesnt extend to the level were i can blindly support him to be cleared of charges.

personally im not a great fan of sreesanth both off field and on field, and i dont mind him being off the indian team.
I prefer someone like BK shami to sreesanth, i shudder to think Sree and ishy mishy bowling in tandem.

But The whole business has been very unclear and murky to begin with, and not a whole lot of transparency in the proceedings.
Its is very possible that sreesanth is being made a scape goat here to hide bigger scandals.
Also if sreesanth does get cleared of all charges, he would have lost a great amount of his career time by then, im curious how will those who accuse him, media and those who charged him are going to compensate him.

The right solution for this is to bring Transparency in the system and the proceedings going on in the sport that is the heart throb of this country also.

That is what we as cricket fans should be demanding.....BCCI. not blindly support a player based on our liking.

Ask for facts to be out in the open faster proceedings.

Remove the gagging of players, proper clear updates of what is going on, i was never satisfied with the whole Srini stepping down thing.. those who were accused should have been totally cutoff.

What sort of protective measures are going to be taken in future?
how and when are they implemented?

The only way this could have happened was if people had boycotted the IPL matches totally during the scandal time, till the important people opened their mouth.but alas such things never happen..

@lionhearts I let you know one thing that winning a single match never means winning world cup for team. Sreesanth just helped to win a crucial match in 2007 world cup but that does not mean he won the world cup for us. He is not like Yuvraj who played consistently throughout the 2011 ODI world cup and won most of the games.

Let police and court decide whats correct and whats not, we really can't do anything.

IPL and Cricket will keep moving on, no one is going to boycott it even if fixing news and scandals come up in the IPL7, IPL will still continue and generate a lot of money for the BCCI and its officials.

I do not intend to blame you for starting this thread lionhearts but there are some immature people who love to bring in North India, South India and crappy regional politics like this. Please do not encourage those stuffs here. I would request you to report posts that involve regional politics.
