I disagree with spud in some respects, I wouldn't limit ODIs to domestic cricket and World Cups, I'd have more tournaments rather than 5-7 match series of little consequence. Maybe have four team competitions take place every summer/winter, three groups of four with the winners going through to a triangular "final". And perhaps more importantly the ICC shouldn't forget the newer full sides and the other countries, cricket does need exposure and should not be "elitist" in ignoring the minnows. I'm sure the minnows enjoyed their exploits at the ICC T20, but surely they need to have more exposure and playing weaker countries in big competitions will only help.
T20 is going to be a short-lived fad, people will tire of it. Limit THAT to domestic cricket and a competition every four years and ffs ITV, buy the rights to the ICC T20 and not the IPL, who in this country gives a feck about a load of places in India and their fanatical fans?!?!? Worst case scenario televise our domestic T20, the IPL is over-rated as it is without you jumping on the bandwagon - and it was tedious, I watched less than 24 hours worth of it, mainly thanks to them prioritising ads over cricket and that ridiculous tactical timeout twaddle
