if this is true then it is an absolute joke. have sent an e-mail to ea (don't know where that will get me). have lost me if this is the case, maybe will hire the game for a week and play one dayers or the like but for test matches and longer games forget. another strike against the ea name

simple answer is they got rid of teh save function to fix the line up bug plain and simple so it wouldn't have any problems

Xbox people who say they can't save....is this in friendly matches or in tournament matches? Or both?

On PS2 you can save in a friendly match but I didn't check tournament matches.

Right I have the PS2 version now...

I have only tried a test match so far and I could save in between overs. It takes up over 3000kb on your mem card to save a profile and each match you save takes up an extra 1400kb . doesn't make much odds to me though, i have 2 mem cards and 1 had over 6000kb free (after deleting my C2004 data ).

I can't believe you can't save in between overs on Xbox.

With Gameplay they are great with things like that.
