what's so funny? : you can already play over the net in C2004 with upto 4 opponents. plus there is DL method, variable weather and pitch conditions, great ai especially w/ quick singles to mid on/mid off, and absolutely no bugs...........

Squiz/djkay, the patch isnt an online gaming patch but can be used to play online Cricket 2002/Cricket 2004 style. Cricket 2002 style online contest meant you play one inning, send the saved game to the other guy and the opponent plays his inning on his own pc(not online). This kind of tournments were floated with Cricket 2002 and its was quite a success.These guys were only kidding when they said its an online gaming capable patch.

Yeah... That's what I thought. I reckon the game would have been lot better if HB released the game with an online feature like they promised.

yeh i know what the patch does, he created one for Cricket 2002 as well. You bat one innings, send the save file to the other person through email or MSN or sumthin, then the other person bats out the innings, and you work out the winner.

Btw, I've got to say the credit for online gaming (or 'play by e-mail') goes to Shailesh too, as he had the original idea in the old BLC days, what 3-4 years ago?

Once again.. great job Shailesh.. GamTweak was the backbone of the online games in c2002..now it will be the same with c2004..

Depends if you count Tom's editors which allow you to view the gfx files. It will definitely be an editor when he releases the version that allows you to replace.

I tried it out but I have a question..

I played a match btwn Eng and SA and batted out the Eng inning using gamepad use the savtweak to swap teams but when I try to bat the SA team I am unable to use the game pad.. I am force to use a keyboard instead...
is there a way where I can bat both teams using the same controller??
