Say Jhah's Retro Project (Waste's 90s & 00s ODI World XI's shared - See first post)

Started working on one of my favourite projects that I never finish: 1990s World Cup sides.

Been working on some player faces. Think I'll try Australia and England first. That way, when I inevitably abandon the project, I might be able to pivot for a 1990s Ashes series.

I've got loads of logos and kits saved across a couple of computers, in different folders from my various projects.. I'm currently expanding and skill balancing my full 90s teams to countries (e.g. all England players in 1990s World Cups), don't know if I'll playface them all, not sure I care that much about a playfaced Ian Austin.

So if there are logos or kits that you'd like to see. Post them in here and I can see what I got. No promises, but throwing together a test kit is fairly easy.

I'll have a dig through my old DBC14 folders I had lots of sponsors back when you had to copy and paste them so I went overboard creating as many era correct teams as I could.

Something I have in archives are all the team name texts for the World Series kits like the baseball style jerseys, lightning bolts and the one day domestic cup that was stylised with the 92 design - is that stuff you have? or can upload if I find them? There's a 1989/90 Pakistan kit on the academy with the appropriate name which is great but it would be good to have the rest.

So, I've reverted back to the dream project of doing 1990s World Cup rosters. Working on creating players and skilling.

So far got Australia, England, India, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies done. Working on New Zealand. Probably try and get the 1992 teams done and perhaps throw on some generic playfaces to at least improve the looks of players.

Looking good mate. I always preferred New Zealand's grey to their black kits it's a colour you don't see very often in world sport.

Yeah, I've made a start on them

Mate you're an absolute legend, can't thank you enough for your retro projects! The 1996 WC kits were all great, that 1992-2003 period was the golden age of world cups for me.

One thing the creation centre needs is the ability to lift the arms up it can be a pain getting things right on the sleeves and down the sides.
