Yes, as always RR unleashes another young talent. That was some serious batting by Deepak Hooda. Even though he got out against Imran Tahir, he still batted pretty well against him. That six against Imran Tahir's googly was amazing.

Neither team will be too comfortable with the performance now. MI top order looked absolute garbage under remotely helpful conditions. And KXIP bowlers looked equally lost against a counter attacking pinch hitter

Hooda looks interesting, but need to be very realistic about him. Just checked his first class average and it is almost non-existent (yes he has a hundred but he has played very little games in First class, List A and Twenty20. His big hitting down the order gives India hope, but he needs to be "not fast tracked into the Indian side". We don't want another Jadeja.

For a lot of Indians, this is one good reason to dislike KXIP. For a lot of us, she is hyper exaggerated in her behavior in IPL's and in general too, and as an actress she has been way past her sell by date (even her peak days lasted only a few years).

Dooood, That kid is just about to turn 20, of course he would have played small number of games in First class. The thing is it's not about his average, it was his strokeplay under pressure that was impressive. Nobody is going to bring him in the national cricket team based on one IPL season. He will need to back up that performance in couple of ranji trophy seasons to come into contention.

Disagree. I support KXIP (when they are not playing against KKR) just because of Maxi and this sexy . Other than that she is so passionate about Cricket and her IPL team. Sad to see KXIP didnt win a title yet and I hated to see her in tears when KXIP lost to KKR last season in final .
