The franchises seem to have done a lot of homework on the uncapped players. Some very big amounts have been spent on some particular local players You may have never heard of like Shreyas Iyer and KC Cariappa. The big question is that why cant our national selectors do it???

I don't really get the logic behind it yet.

That Yuvraj Singh bid was when RCB completely lost it. They released Yuvraj so they can spend more money on other players and then they started bidding for him at 15 crore? WTF is wrong with them?

Also it will be exciting to see Trent Boult and Dale Steyn bowling in tandem. Sunrisers were probably the smartest buyer in the yesterday's auction.

Probably because they wanted him back at a lower price but his domestic form shattered Mr. Malya's plan.

They just can't play two oversea bowlers in a same match due to the lack of good local botsmen.
