I wouldnt put the blame entirely on Lampard.Im not happy with Sven.He has rarely tried a 4-1-4-1 formation in any of the games between the past world cup and now(barring say one friendly match) and suddenly he does that yesterday.The players clearly didnt look suited to the formation and well not clear about their roles.Moreover I dont understand his policy on Walcott,if he has picked him to play for his team in the World Cup,give the lad a chance atleast as a sub in the last 10-15 minutes.Id even have started Walcott for the game against Sweden to prove himself.If Sven wasnt sure about Walcott why did he pick him in the first place instead of someone he knows better like a Defoe,Darren Bent or Andy Johnson.You guys might be thinking that Im talking no sense after Englands win yesterday but its going to pay us big time later in the tournament.The other managers have given their youngsters a chance to play,take Germany and Argentina for example and they have played with attacking formations and hence are looking so strong.
