This is right up there when I heard about Steve Irwin dying, absolute shock. Going to be surreal for a while.

Just logged in to pay a humble tribute to the great man. Aussie through and through, you couldnt get more Aussie than him and there will be all sorts of things said about his private life but as the word implies thats his private life. Did a massive amount for charity and was a great part of my cricketing upbringing. Much too young. He often annoyed me if he commentated but by God I am going to miss his voice now.

I was fortunate enough, on my second shift ever at the mcg I was on break and went into the members behind the bowler's arm and got a prime view to see Warne's 700th wicket. A moment I'll cherish, even more so now.
