WHAT A LIFE
What a life it is for me, just under two months I moved to Namibia, and business has just picked up there, I went to Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and now I am returning to South Africa for my birthday on the 17th. I am leaving on the 14th and only will be returning the 28th November.
Please listen to my planetcricket special, I recorded it on the 6th but with the technical difficulties in Zim, I could only post it tonight, that?s right I returned yesterday from Harare. Anyway it was a ok a trip, this time I did not go into the City itself, tried to keep a distance, and the beaches of Mozambique, man what a site!! So Carmen and me have decided we are getting married next year on the Mozambique beach (date still to be arranged)
Don?t know if you guys know about Meerkat Manor a show on Animal Planet, about Meerkats, a ten-year study done by the Cambridge University in Cape Town. I?m honored that I have been invited to meet them and the Whiskers, and there after conduct a speech to them for their efforts keeping the Kalahari in nice shape. I?ve got my own little gang of meerkats, called the Pirates, 18 of them, funny enough my dominant female is called Flower (the dominant female of the Whiskers) but my dominant male, well he is Captain Morgan. Trying to keep our little reserve in tact after a bushfire occurred two months ago, but we are going forward
So I see South Africa is going to India to play in 5 ODI?S still can?t believe under a year ago, SA was ranked fifth, but now they find themselves ranked second, they also stand an opportunity to better the Aussies unbeaten record. But this is the sub-continent mate, and India looks unbeatable after they demolished Sri Lanka on home-soil
