Shoaib Malik Steps Down From Captaincy, Younis Khan New Captain

Could there be any more foolish board than the PCB...checkout this quote around the sacking of Shoaib Malik:

"We have not sacked him but relieved him from the captaincy," said Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ijaz Butt. Whats the difference?

Sacked is such a harsh word. Relieved is such a pleasent word. It really doesn't hurt at all.

If he's still in the team, then he's not been sacked from the team... hence relieve would be a better word to use.

He's a great batsman and under his captaincy Pakistan went to 20/20 fnals.

I think it has come late but it was bound to happen. I do not think Malik deserved to be captain. Now i want to see some change in the team. I hope Akmal will be sacked as well, he was playing only because he was a friend of Malik.
