Should India and Pakistan play a Series?

Ohhh here we go. More Indian fans acting high and mighty. What about Indian terrorists who have carried out attacks on Pakistani soil? Do you really want me to go into the history of the two nations and what India has done? What about the unfair and illegal occupation of Kashmir? What about the innocent killings of muslims within Indian territories? What about the bombs that went off during the IPL a couple years back? They were not Pakistani terrorists. What about the train link between Pakistan and India, which opened for the first time in decades a few years ago, which was bombed in India, killing 100s of innocents? And that attack was carried out by Indian terrorists.
Where are the admins on this site? sleeping? They should step in and stop threads like this ever posting in the first place. This is a cricket discussion forum, not a Pakistani witch hunt.

Well you tired so early ah? well it's true that now indian team is better than us but I think it's too early to say that you are bored and not keen in just 8 years of dominance against pakistan.For us,WE never got bored when we used to beat india(Most of the TIME) for almost 50 years

Well India wins the matches that really matter They should simply award points to India whenever we meet in 50-50 world cup

Joking apart Ind-Pak matches are good anyday. THey always play good cricket with each other irrespective of how they perform against other teams.

Dude you gotta learn to argue with the right people. You can have healthy discussion with a few Indian fans on the forum, but you should keep away from the rest. Although I do agree with the part that the mods should close away threads like these whose main point is never understood.

And to get it straight, playing India is a huge bonus for BOTH sides. If you are in the misconception that its a money-maker for only Pakistan you are mistaken. We have been living without playing India for a while and we can keep doing that as well. And rivalrys ended? When was it about ratings? We played India plenty of times when we were one of the top sides in World Cricket without fuss. And dont we throw the form out of the window when we play games likes these?

PCB has done its job at offering hands of friendship and offering to play series, but its the signs from across the border that are not as welcoming. We have done our apart, but if India dont want to play then no ones forcing them.

Yes, the rivalry is not the same anymore. The 26/11 and the subsequent tensions could have propelled it up but still the intensity and the atmosphere of an India-Pakistan clash wont be the same again.

Well when you guys kept beating us, our team was at least good and popular and so people went with the hope of seeing these players pull off wins against Pakistan. But I cant say the same of the current Pakistan team. Where are the great players like the Inzamam's or the Akram's or the Younis's or even the Akthar's? Now there is even no Afridi and the rest of the guys just dont inspire the hope and show no glimpses of greatness.

Didn't you say you only watch matches involving India? If so, how can you say these guys don't "inspire hope" or "show glimpses of greatness"? From the one match India played against Pakistan in the World Cup? What you're saying might be true, and probably is, but how would you know?

I think you dont quite remember our last meetings Sai. We nearly pushed India out of the World Cup, I reckon we probably the second best team in it, and nearly took them out if it wasnt for our own self destruction. It was Wahab Riaz an unheard youngster who took out Sehwag, Kohli, Yuvraj and Dhoni. Remember the encounter before this? Asia Cup? Which Harbhajan inspired a win from nowhere? Or the game in ICC Champions Trophy? None of the India wins have been convincing to signal an end of rivalry, but if you are simply looking at rankings and outside stuff, then well cricket is not for you.

Shravi has got it right. On the face of it we might have lost more games then we have won in the last year or so, but this is not the same Pakistan team which rolls down without a fight.

Actually People say including me that Pakistan cricket has gone down but I thought of an interesting thing.

After 2007 ODI WC till 2011 WC Pakistan Featured in 5 ICC events(2 ODI,3 T20).They were finalist 2 times(Won in one) and They have reached Semi Final 3 times so that's because of the fight which our Young Talent Put and Where are the star? Hardly there are 2 or 3 of Them but still they fight and at the end of the day,I'll be very satisfy if we loose but put up a fight


AND now india THey won 2 but knocked out 2 times in first rounds and Once in second round Although they've got a team of XI Stars


i am not saying India is not a good Team but at least our team do well in ICC events and that's what everybody prepares for 4 years
