Club Cricketer
Ok this is only my imagination running amok, together with a user comment I read at the Times website, but still consider this!
The present row between KP and the ECB spills over further and KP decides to dump the ECB and England for the IPL. Furthermore, he goes on to make big runs against all and sundry in the IPL, decides he likes Indian cricket more and aspires to a spot in the Indian cricket team. After a couple of years, KP is granted Indian citizenship. By now Sachin is about to retire, and those boots are going to need some filling. India looks around for a replacement, and lo and behold, there's KP!! What say?!!
Doesn't India make more sense for KP? India is a winning team now, he doesn't really have to worry about politics or other such stuff, just carry on with his goal to become the best!
Or would India say, "Thou false to him, thou fiend to me"?!!
Dear oh dear, a double post! Sorry! Mods, please delete one!
