Here's a screenshot of my Desktop now I have installed a new theme.
I don't like having too much on my Desktop.
I keep my programs on my Start menu.

Then what is the use of desktop.

I have also less pictograms (only 7)on my desktop. A lot of pictograms will slow your computer down.

how do you optmize it?

Just change some settings. I have used GAme xp though but didn't find it useful.
I shut down all the background tasks before starting any game. Jusk keep the explorer.exe running. And another setting is quite useful; goto- System properties-advanced-performance-settings-visual effects-adjust for best performance. This setting is good for optimizing RAM performance. ANd also my Vertical sync is turned off and graphic card bit overclocked.

Yeah its not illegal, but won't comment any further. Smart people know. By the way anyone notice the "hVCPlus" on my desktop. Make a guess what it does.

yeah mine is only P4 1.6 and I am not upgrading any soon. Actually I am waiting for PS3, its going to come with Linux installed with Keyboard and mouse support. Now thats a super computer for such a low price. No need for upgrades. :onpc

Thats what I have, I just didn't buy it online. I don't think the game has come out in retail stores.

Since you guys were talking about steam I presumed you were talking about a game of Valve Software. :laugh And I thought right: Day of Defeat: Source.

You could say this game is Half-Life in warzone.

And I really hate this steam part.
