Here is my latest. Very clean. Windows 7 almost makes the desktop (shortcuts) sorta useless, I can have everything that I use regularly in my taskbar.

Nice. Can't you make the Taskbar slightly transparent though? That would look awesome.

I can't run Aero, my graphic card is out-dated.

Not really liking the mahoosive taskbar I've been seeing on 7 screenies. Can you have a smaller one? I get that it's there for the touch interface, but 'd prefer it smaller like in vista.

Anyhow, this is my current desktop. About time for a change really.

A Civ fan I see, spent many an hour on that series. Best of the turn based games by far.

Not a lot on my new desktop, had a sort out. Most stuff has been relegated to the start menu. Have tried a few vista themes as well as I'm looking for a slightly snazzier startbar but can't find a theme where the rest of the theme looks better than aero. The Aston picture looks really great fullsize as its a really hires photo, but I know what you are all thinking, no penguins?

I haven't posted mine for ages. Only Windows XP I'm afraid (but look closely and you might see a flightless bird). Vcash to anyone who can tell me where and when the photo was taken...

There isn't really a penguin...
As for the old software it's more through design than choice!
