Sky to retain cricket rights until 2013

There might well be more cricket highlights on terrestrial television in 2010/11. That is when the Ashes tour is and like last time the BBC might show the highlights.

They aren't are my freeview box! They list what all the other channels are, with CBBC and CBeebies having their own channels.

I'm sorry, but they are. The video streams are shared. Although they have separate channel numbers, it is the same video stream. In addition to this, all the play-out kit is shared between the two channels, so there would have to be a big investment to get BBC3 and BBC4 during the day.

The ECB say there were 27 seperate packages, BBC say there was just the one. I somehow think if there were 27 seperate TV packages BBC (or someone else) would have bid for atleast one of them. What would be helpful is if the ECB listed what these 27 packages were.

Yes, indeed. I would love to see the tender document. The Football League put their's on the internet - come on ECB!

England has 50% more cricket players now than they did this time last year according to Giles Clarke. And T20 crowds were up 18% apparently.
And since I last blinked, billions of people around the world have blinked billions of times. I'll take the credit thanks.
