Snow

It's blowing a blizzard outside and snowed last night too. Anyone else got snow where they are?
The problem now is that instead of working I'll jump in the car and go sledging with my mates or keep having snowball fights on the street like last night instead of doing the large amounts of work that are piling up.
Mind you we had a bit of an accident last night during out snowball fight. Someone hit the window on a ground-floor flat and shattered it! Not so good...

I live in U.A.E- ie. a desert. We have occasional rain but the weather has been screwy recently and it has rained twice this week(a LOT for a desert) and might rain more in the future(global warming). it snowed in Ras-Al-Khaima, the first time in U.A.E's recorded history, I think. Sadly i live in dubai..

yeah zorax it is the first time that it snowed in UAE. and i think that this the the coldest winter that DUbai has ever seen. i was born here. where in dubai do you live zorax? and i think it is the first time in dubai that rain occured more than once in a winter season.

Bur Dubai. I was born in Hong kong and emigrated here when I was 5-6. Hong Kong witers are like Ice without snow and lots of rain in summer- and i mean A LOT of rain, with the Tsunami reaching 10(out of 12 which means it hit) a few years ago when I was there..................

Snow is great when you are at school....snow ball fights, sliding on the ice etc

However when you get a tad older and drive to work every day, snow is the pits :gundown

it snowed yesterday and its bloody cold weather here outside. It was -2F* today morning and the maximum for the day is around 16F with wind chills coming. Winter this year in the US looks to be severe! There was a snow storm last month!

Well it doesnt snow here, but it did (for the first time) at a place about an hours drive from here.
