Since we cannt play online and offline seems to bug ridden cuz of wrong foot selection and back foot shots of yorkers and I have only played this game for 3/4 hours(and will not play any more unless either one of those bugs get fixed) compare to 200+ plus hours of AC09 play.

For me personally this game is a big improvement on AC09 and most definitely not a flop. I have been playing it for 3 weeks now and really enjoying it, yes it has issues but again for me it does not have the game breaking issues that AC09 had. Game is already well worth the ?25 I paid for it.

I don't really play online so that hasn't affected me, but that is something that Codies need to address for the many people who do play online on a regular basis.

Hopefully Codies decide to do another game next year, which can build upon this.

Agreed, if I played online it would drive me nuts, but i don't play online, I play against the AI or against my mates. 2 player is awesome, just like Ashes 09 was but better. The AI is much much better an I'm having enjoyable and awesome matches. The only thing that I'm disappointed about really is the AI batting in test matches and superhuman keepers giving spinners too many wickets. Fix this then perfecto cricketing gamo.

Have you tried playing with all batting assistance taken off yet? Its incredible. Takes about 4 or 5 overs to get used to, but I am now having gripping test matches with run rates or approx 3.5 to 4 runs an over.. You have to play properly.

Seriously, if you haven't tried it, give it a go. 3rd person batting cam, all HUD assstance off and you have real cricket on your computer! its genius!!

Have to agree withe the OP. Even though there are more features offline (Action Cam and Power Stick) the game is still too broken should have warranted an AC 09 DLC rather than a new game. Overall I have played this game far less as compared to AC 09. As for me AC 09 was a better experience overall compared to IC 10.

I would second that, I could not digest the AI's wrong footwork. Ac09 had its own share of bugs, but I had my share of good games with AC09.

Time to patch this bad boy, who knows we might be given a new title in January

Yup, no matter what AC09 was fun to play online and you could get some realistic games

Another to agree with cricket_online and Narasimha. I'm one of those for whom a new cricket game would usually mean nights spent playing the game, and days spent dreaming about playing the game. Not this one though.

I'm still trying hard to like it; to make something out of it, but its just not working out. Online is broken; offline isn't as fun for me as some others are finding it; with the wrong footwork thing and otherwise stuttering animations the game looks and feels ugly; and most annoyingly - the broadcast cam playing experience in IC10 is not greater than or equal to Ashes 09.

Played a couple of Ashes 09 games online recently and found those (still) to be much more satisfying.

In response to the original question, whether the game is a hit or a flop would be determined by sales figures and I don't have much of an idea about that.

Not to upset any folks.

If i am not wrong, they sold an average of 500 thousand copies of the game (consoles), even if we keep the price at 30$ per game, they would have coffered up 15 Million Dollars (I paid a little over 70$ for the game)

Even if the sales of IC10 touches 200 thousand, they would make millions out of it. I can only hope they make use of the money to make a game more exciting next year.

Well I played most of AC09 offline 10 overs game with AI and I really enjoyed it but i cant seems to enjoy IC10 cuz of wrong foot selection and stupid backfoot shots of yorker and I cant be bothered to play test cricket , to me this game is a complete disaster as far as my tastes are concerned.

Ashes 09 was absolute rubbish offline. Far too easy even on the hardest level, ridiculous runouts, stupid numbers of no-balls, pathetic AI. Have people forgotten about all of this?

Agree about offline; never played Ashes 09 offline. Online was a whole different story.

Flop...because of online. I dont play offline. I feel cheated by codematers.

Flop online, decent game offline.

I used to be a mostly online player though so it sucks for me :(
