My apologies, I finally managed to get one past square leg, but only after a lot of trying and moving of the batsmans stance etc.

On a separate note, do you guys know if there is a way to change which side of the wicket the bowler will bowl?

If you press E on the keyboard it will move your bowler to round the wicket, and then Q will move him back over the wicket.
