Great knock from MSD! But still couldn't fathom the reason he gave for dropping Mishra in that press conference. What pressure on the batsmen is he talking about? Good that Patel did well, but Mishra could have played for Harbhajan and picked up those same wickets, maybe at an even better economy. When you have 6 batsmen and Axar who can hold a bat, why do you need another "can hold the bat" guy in Harbhajan? It seems like Dhoni's shockers in decision making keep increasing.

But can't fault his knock. SPLENDID is the word! To do that from a precarious situation is phenomenal. The guy's a legend for sure. Its just that we Dhoni admirers want him to end in the most fitting and best possible way in his career, that he can. The catching was excellent in this game, esp. Kohli. Still can't forgive his usage of the "MC" word after being involved in that run out with Rahane. Its your team mate and this is not your last game, dude!

Mishra is hardly a bunny with the bat either. He had some valuable contributions is the SL tests on some tough wickets. If anything he is as capable a batsman as Harby. The worst part is that Harby got two lucky wickets yesterday which will keep him on the fringes of the side and in it for a while.

The team has left the hotel for the ground. A piloting car is with team bus. Of course the security is beefed up enroute to the stadium. I don't think there will be anything drastic happening. Hardik has lost a lot of faith and support from Patels, particularly the ones from North Gujarat. People now think that Hardik is doing this only for his own political benefits not for the community.

Mobile internet has been banned in Rajkot for 24 hours from this morning. I don't know why a 'Patel' ban is needed? You can't stop anyone from any community/class etc to go to public places unless he/she is likely to cause harm. I know you said in joking mood but this isn't funny. Come to Gujarat and you'll see we are one of the most peace loving people around.

Politician's thoughts matter much less here. Peace more. You'll see non-Gujaratis and non-Hindus freely enjoying their time dancing the night out during Navratri. Please stop generalizing people due to one stupid person (Hardik).

Last but not least, it is often in football that the crowd plays the role of the 12th man, and it can be said of the Indore crowd today. Brilliant crowd there.

Indore crowd is seriously awesome, we are pretty passionate about our cricket. Also given the rich history of the region and the contribution of Holkars to the game, we should be getting more than a game every three to four years.
