India will be lucky to get to 200 here. Mishra did show some resistance in SL with the bat, but I think the SA attack will be a different challenge. Is it okay to hold out some hope of Umesh getting some runs, after his maiden Ranji 100 not that long ago

I was looking for you when the over rated de Villiers was making runs for fun. Wonder where you were. One wicket and 6 overs doesn't a hero make. There's a lot of cricket left.

I never once said de Villiers was overated, just that he is overpraised. I have no problem seeing him score runs but when people talk about him like he is Don Bradman and Chris Gayle mixed together I get annoyed. Why is Jadeja in the slip. Rahane was brilliant in the slips in SL and caught everything. Some really good slip catching, why is Rahane not in the slips. I still remember Jadeja dropping Cook in England in what turned out to be a series changing drop.

Wow that was a good over from Varun. Had pace, and aggression, and mostly had control over his line. No one has ever doubted Varun's pace, but his control over line and length has been woeful so far. That first over was good.

I would`ve kept Varun going from one end and asked him to bowl full and straight at Amla. Amla early on is vulnerable against pace.
