There is an odd of each outcome. Your amount will get multiplied with those odds and you get the winning amount. If the odd is 1.05 and your wager 5000 then your amount gets multiplied with those odds and you will get your winning amount. You are getting very low amount because you are placing very small amount. So try to place some huge amount and win huge amounts.

Yes, Just add 6000+1200 = 7200. The winning amount is apart from what you wagered.

The odds are 1.01(Multiply 40000x1.01) Tha will be 40400, Subtract 40000 from thart the winning is 400. It is because Australia were the firm favourite since the start or even before.
