I'm not going to request any specific events but make a suggestion instead.
Events are going up a bit late at the moment. For example today's friends provident matches didn't go up until last night. I happened to be online while these events went up so I got to bet on them, but if I'd have already turned off my computer for the night I wouldn't have had a chance to. Perhaps the low amount of bets placed on some events can be attributed to the small window of time available to bet. I know how frustrating it is to put up an event and have nobody bet on it, especially if the server is being as awkward as it was last night (7th time lucky) I'd suggest putting up events at least 3 or 4 days prior, earlier if possible.
The same goes for requesting an event. Don't wait until the day of an event to request it. Give others who may be offline a chance to bet on it too.
