After his absence from the T20s I honestly thought they'd stopped trying to make Tom Curran happen.
He's an odd selection. He's not bad, but every county has at least one bowler who does what he does. Sussex have about six (although that left them with no money for batsmen)

Dunno if that shows off how good they are or how much of a dearth of talent we've had in that area...

Not that surprised. Only others of note, in the modern era at least, I can think of are Mullally and Topley.
 
If this trend continues, pretty sure that 2030 will see the likes of China spanking Lankans on a regular basis.
