I would like to know how they stamp a cricket bat for e.g. SS has ton on the sides and back.

Indeed. There is machines for carving into wood, basically little bits of metal like material that you can draw on wood with. They would have one made for them with the IS and whatever else, and just stamp it on to bats as they're made.

Easy.

i thought they use a permanent marker, but soldering makes more sense and would last longer too.
