Glasgow Grubbers have batted and we are now mid way through Day 4...

Runs came pretty quickly in this innings and it looked pretty bad at 134-5 but Joe Clarke and Mushfiqur put Glasgow right back in the driving seat and Mushfiqur claimed the first GG ton and the only one of the series so far ending 112*. Pretty much every batsman apart from Che has contributed in these two matches so it's good to see.

No Mosaddek and Rahman was pretty leaky with only Taijul keeping us quiet (and grabbing another 3 wickets)

375 to win then and plenty of time to get them. There is turn in the pitch but it is also still batting well. This could be very close and would be a famous win if Bangladesh can get them.

Could Bangladesh see it home or would the Grubbers take the Series 2-0?

Once Tamim was dispatched by Pujara there was no question of the Tigers taking a win and once Amit came back and ran through the lower order the draw was done too despite Shadman's best efforts with an innings Nick Browne would've enjoyed. 214 all out then and the victory is ours.

Finally wickets for Shannon who bookended the match with his. Another 5fer for Amit and a vital wicket for Pujara. Watt was poor in this match as Tamim went after him but he did well enough in the first test match to keep his place. Ravi came roaring in with his golden arm as well. Another good bowling performance.

Unsurprisingly Amit Mishra's 11/69 across the two innings got him the Player of the Match award. He'll be key again against Sri Lanka and his compatriots. The good news is the runs were pretty shared throughout the entire top six so long may that continue. Tamim will feel pretty hard done by to get out twice in the 90s.

I am playing 1999 world cup now..not sure of the squad of 1999 I just began with what I have.

1st game: Australia vs Zimbabwe, Edgebaston. I played as Australia.

Zim won the toss & decided to bat first. Zim started really well with Johnson and Campbell playing Mcgrath and Fleming easily. They were going 6 per over.

I brought Warne at 11th over and he got rid of 6 wickets! 6 wickets in his first 7 overs! Zim was down with 97-7. Warne and Lehmann bowled very tightly, Grant Flower and Pommie defended well and were taking only singles ensuring they don't get all out cheaply. They played out Warne and Lehmann's quota.

It was around 40th over Grant & Pommie got aggressive and pushed Zim's score from 97 to 200. They both were dismissed playing aggressive shots.

Zim gave a target of 202 to Australia.

With the batting line up Aus have I was over confident of achieving the target.

Streak and Johnson were bowling too fast and they were hot too handle, Gilchrist got bowled playing aggressively.

M.Waugh and Ponting built the innings well & they were playing 4.5 per over and Aussies were looking to win the match easily. Then came Henry Olonga and he got rid of Ponting with the slower delivery.
S.Waugh came in no 4 and was playing with the strike rate of 100. Waugh brothers were looking solid until M.Waugh went for lofted shot and succumbed to Olonga's slower delivery(he was already dropped earlier)

Bevan came in no.5 and was given wrongly LBW to Johnson there was clearly an inside edge. S.Waugh too departed soon after Bevan.

Lehmann and Riffel got defensive and were not looking to take any chances, they got odd boundaries of Streak and Johnson. Riffel got out of Streak.

Lehmann now was batting with the tail and Grant Flower was introduced, he bowled very tight line and Lehmann was getting tempted to play lofted shot and while trying to play lofted shot he ended up giving catch to mid off.

Warne got out to Pommie's bowl, simple catch to Andy Flower. All hope was gone for Aussies, they were looking at horrific defeat to Zimbabwe.

Mcgrath & Fleming took singles and it looked like they can take it home but Olonga bowled a beauty: Short pitch rising up to and Fleming went to defend with his front foot and got nicked to Andy Flower. Zimbabwe defeated Australia in the WC opener!

You had me with the change in tense - that’s an AI collapse you’ve produced if I’ve ever seen one! Loving those kits
Ah it was awful man. Something changed in pitch I reckon. Balls I was leaving on length on day 2 were hitting the stumps on day 3 and I just didn't adjust to it
