Strange Shadow/Lighting issue in PC version.

I am creating a new thread on this as discussion relating to the said issue was getting buried under other discussions in the 'General Discussions' thread.

Is anybody facing problem like this? The shadows are too dark and it is painting every object with grayish colour. I've tried tinkering with my monitor settings, reinstalled fresh copy of GPU drivers, tried few presets of Reshade.. nothing has worked. This is the first time I am seeing a problem like this. None of the other games (including al previous Big Ant title) showing anything like this. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

The problem was there in Demo version as well.

Specs: Monitor-Acer XB271HU (Connected via Display Port), GPU- Asus GTX 1080 ROG Strix, CPU-i7 6700k, RAM-16GB DDR4,

@relaxedanderson has also mentioned that he's facing similar problems.

I hope @BigAntStudios take a look into this. Any ideas for fixing this problem?

In case you are already on the latest graphic card drivers, just check if you have the last BIOS update for your machine.

I think I have the latest one. Will check once I get back.

2PM. The weather was cloudy with shower. So it should be gloomy. I did play a test match with sunny and clear weather even then the problem was existent. Only thing different was that the shadows were little less gray and dark as one would expect. But no where near acceptable levels.

not sure if i have some corrupted files, one of my hard disk doesnt work properly

edit: i have a gtx 660, is that enough? it runs fine except for this bug

i reinstalled most of the files but doesnt work. Also reinstalling video drivers doesnt work.
Getting this, it's a shaders problem if i m not wrong.

But how come only handful of people are getting this problem? Wonder if you can look into the config of the game and deduce something.

if you mean config.ini i tried now but still nothing.

We both have a gtx, so that may be the reason it happens for us

This is my look after a fresh update of graphics drivers.

Looks great from the other end but a game between two teams of anonymous whistle-blowers from this end.

Geforce 750 Ti for me.

I have exactly this GPU and have no issues with it unfortunately for you guys trying to narrow it down....

Cheers for that but it made no difference. Slightly worse if anything.

I am currently downloading it on my laptop. Then I am going to connect my monitor to it and see what the results are. I hope @BigAntStudios has taken a note of this.

I'm going to try it on my spare Frankencomputer tonight. Not great spec on it but should run the game.
