i had my middle stump out the ground, but i just got pushed out the ground and layed on the ground, go kartwheeling, hopefuly it will be in the harder modes

I'm amazed this thread gets so much attention. Who cares about stumps flying out of the ground? Probably the same people who want pigeons on the pitch, and blood when you get hit with the ball.

I think that it does add an important authenticity to the game. If you work real hard to get a wicket, which im hoping will be the case, it enhances the satisifaction that little bit more. This is assuming it is implemented correctly, i.e no stumps flying for spinners

I absolutely agree that stumps flying is an essential feature, especially when accompanied by a deep woody -chonk!- sound. get in!
not fussed about pigeons mind...

p.s. i hope stumps dont just go out the ground, but fly !!! Makes you feel satisfied for the hard work you did to get the wicket.
