Unstoppable Devon Slayers !!!

Devon Slayers @subhasish mitra are currenty unbeaten after slaying every single opponent they have met in this league. 3 matches and 3 straight comfortable wins have been registered with some remarkable performances.

Will they go unbeaten or is there anyone out there in the league to challenge them for the top position ? Are they the invincibles of the tournament ? Will the dark horses of the league fight to climb the places to reach the semi-finals ?

Devon Slayers top the group while a very tough competition beholds for the 2nd spot. 5 teams are tied on 6 points while Middlesex Commandos are edging in the semi-final spot with a whopping run rate of 10.64. The bottom 4 teams are yet to begin their campaigns in this competition.

In a bizarre press conference on Friday of the team managers, Team Manager of Birmingham Legends gave a very wary statement of Cambridgeshire Lunatics on Friday evening.

"The Lunatics seems to handle pressure really well, they managed to pull of two very difficult and tense run chases against Bedfordshire Express and the Slayers. I am impressed and we are looking forward to play with them"

This statement has surely not gone well in the Cambridgeshire dressing room as they feel this is purely a gimmick to rattle their confidence which has been going well in the league. Cambridgeshire Lunatics have been in sublime batting form in the league and they managed to tie the first match of the league with Devon Slayers.

The competition is heating up at the top and we look forward for an exciting league finish very soon.

In the Sundays team managers press conference fierce war of words were exchanged between the managers of London Blasters and Devon Slayers.

Manager of London Blasters @AliKhan215 have publicly challenged Devon Slayers that at the end of the league matches it will be his team that will finish at the top place. He added " Everyone knows how strong our gameplay really is and eventually it will be us at the top place very soon"

The manager of Devon Slayers @subhasish mitra was quick to respond to this statement. saying "I think London has no clue what awaits them in this league and we are eager to play them. Our performances speak for itself. We have no reason to be intimidated so let the cricket do the talking next time"

On the other end of the table the underdogs of the league Cheshire Hawks @Redpollard are picking up some form. After restricting Yorkshire Bulls @Solomon to a shocking 11/5 in the first innings they displayed a strong bowling attack. The Hawks have now got 2 back to back wins against Bristol & Merseyside and sit on 6 points in the league.
