Will the high flying Express derail next week?
Since the league started
Bedfordshire Express have been the dark horses of the league. They have been in form accumulating points and are now placed in the qualification zone with 1 match to go.
Even after such a superb performance in the league, Manager
@Sandeepasrani of
Bedfordshire Express did not seem overjoyed in the Sunday's media conference.
He stated that "
We are disappointed by our run rate of our team and if we don't qualify we might as well play football in nets just to get the ball much better on bat in future tournaments"
Mediawatch investigative reports suggested later that the internet connection in the Express training centre could be the reason why his team has been in poor form as they couldn't practice online against each other. Bedfordshire Players have been spending sleepless nights playing lag filled matches in their training centres.
The Express are now despairingly watching other opponents closely in the table. They are clearly hoping that they can qualify on the expenses of their qualification rivals poor form and performances.
On the other end of the table
Bristol Rebels have been great on the pitch but luck has just not been on their side. They have lost the most number of matches in close encounters and are hoping to turn their luck around soon. We tried to interview the manager but he has stormed out of every match showing an indecent gesture to the media.
Another 9 exciting more days for the league to end for an absolutely close finish in the qualification places. Stay tuned.
