well surrey have had a great start thanks to mad mick and Ryan Dunn a great off spiner in the side. Sussex have lost 5 wickets already and they really need to score ome runs but if Surreys bowlers keep bowling like this it can be a great game. It also depends on Surreys batting. These younguns have shown their talent today but can tey keep it up. Find out after the break

Interview with manager: Hameed Ahmad
Well im richie Beanaud and lets see what Hameed is thinking.
R B: well you have had a good session don't you think?
H A: well we tried our best and worked togeather as a team to pick up 5 wickets and if e=we can continue in this great form we can win.
R B: who is your star player?
H A: I don't have a favourate player but when we work as a team we can do whatever we want. Mad mick and Dunn played very well and there was a great catch from patel.
R B: Well thank you for that.

Tea Update.
Well nothing has gone surreys way at all the 6th wicket fell at 218 and yardy has put on a great partnership with Ambrose. Only one wicket after tea and sussex are in command can they reach 300. Find out next.
What is dissapointing is that sussex were 72-5 but are now 238-6

Well it has been an interesting day. Sussex were in trouble in the morning but yardy came back with 83 before being bowled straight after tea. Ambrose helped with 70. It will be a interesting day tomorrow.

Bowlers did the fine job of taking 9 wickets in first day!!! i think they will finish it off soon tmrw morning and hope Surrey bat well too!!!

At tea it is 129-3 with R. Mathers and R. Patel not out at the crease. Patel has hit 75 and is looking for his Debut hundred for surrey. Can surrey continue in this great form

good bowling guy lets just hope we can do the same thing with the bat
UPDATE
Finally we get to see a magnificent hundred from Raj Patel in this match and an excellent 50 from Mathers to support him. But straight after his hundred he thought he was god as he came down the track and tried to hit over the top but was caught by Matt prior due to a thick op edge. After that Mathers went on the defensive but after Sarode got out he started to get a bit more aggresive and bought up his 50 in style.

Well its 8am here and not much going on except the two teams out on the pitch training. Hassan the coach is having a chat with Ryan crouch and is saying to try and get a draw or a win and bat well. It will be difficult though to bat well as it has been raining over night. Surrey need to hit a few more runs to leval but that target seems further away due to this wet pitch. Mushtaq Ahmed is on the pitch looking for some cracks along with spin bowler Ryan Dunn. It will be a great game now. Could this be the turning
point of the match.
