try to start in safe mode and than try this step

I tried that safe mode it restarts even when I try todo in safe mode. Can any mod shift this to the tech thread please.

Is it just cutting off and rebooting? Are your fans working well? Could well be overheating.

I dont think. The computer was just starting to shut down and the power got cut. Now ir restartes every time after the windows screen. Safe mode does not work too.

Hmm a power cut whilst it was trying to shut down could either have corrupted something software wise.

Or far more worryingly screwed something on a hardware level. A power surge could have buggered up the motherboard.

Anyway, what is happening exactly?

The computer is booting? Can you push the del button and enter bios before it boots windows? Does it let you sit in that screen without restarting?

Otherwise what? It loads windows? Logs in? Then restarts? Or does it then crash to black screen?

It shows the Windows XP screen & then it starts loading and it then restarts.
