This, in my opinion, is a no-contest. ESPN Star have clearly shown themselves to be the cleanest and best entertainers in the cricket production game. This is why the others suck:
Zee Sports: Yet to be launched and starting with Indo-Pak is too big. They'll definitely mess it up. Zee also has a tendency to show ads, at least when looking at their other channels (Zee TV, Zee Cinema, etc.)
SET Max: The production team sucks and it gets very boring. There is no quality analysis and they try to make it up by having Extraaa Innings where the impetus seems to be to talk about anything but cricket. They also show lots of ads--in fact (and this is insider information) they have even reviewed DD tapes to increase their ad times.
Ten Sports: Second to ESPN star, in my opinion. Their coverage of the India tour of Pakistan didn't leave much to be desired. They do not have the best expert analysis team and they know it. Thus they simply show highlights instead of trying to fill in TV time with useless information. Sometimes all the viewer wants to see is how each team played. Sanjay Manjrekar's voice is bad, though.
DD Sports/DD National: The worst production ever. If you start watching a match on this channel you'll want to turn it off. The only + point for them is that they only show one ad between 'analysis' segments--Fair & Lovely. The commentators suck, the production sucks, Charu Sharma sucks. I have often considered suing this channel because they bore me to death.

Tensports- ESPN Sky keeps cutting off matches to show others! 
E.g.-VB Series 2nd final. Four balls left of the final over and they cut it off to highlights of RSA and Eng.!!!!
Or the latest ODI between Eng. and RSA- 4 overs into the match and then they show it!!
Tensports for me, it is an Indian-Pakistani channel.

i agree with sohummishra.that espnstar shud get the rights.
you see zorax ,such things never ever happen while they telecast an india game.
the rest just suck.
especially ten sports.-i could not watch the series on ten as they hiked there rates .had to resort to filthy dd

Well it's more or less a given that the rates will be hiked up whoever gets the series. As for ESPN Star cutting off the VB Series final--as mentioned there were many matches going on at the same time. I can promise you, though, that that is better than missing the first and last ball of EVERY over, which is what most of the other channels in the poll do.

i think zee t.v and espn star should win ethier one because i really dun care bout who wins i just wanna see cricket and both of them do good boardcasting... i watched the sir lanka v.s south africa on zee t.v it was the best they didn't take many ads... over all i hope anyone who wins this fight..shows the cricket and lets all us cricket fans enjoy some indian cricket... its way to long it this fight has been der for i think it was 2 years or 3 i m not sure but it has been a long time... its time to end the fight once and for all
For quality, I would go with ESPN Star Sports. But since we get Zee TV and DD telecasts their matches online at dd.now.com, I would vote for either so that I can get some cheap telecast as Dish Network in the US rips you off all your money!

i have the asian pack of dishnetwork saisrini and that includes zee, sony, and the rest but when the games happen on ppv its really expensive... i hope dish maybe cuts down the prices so we can watch the games... i hope

as far as i know , ten sports had the rights for sri lanka vs south africa.
