I like the idea of having a gimmicky warm up to the CPL. I also like the idea that the ECB went to all the trouble of creating a new format, trademarking it so they could sell it, and other countries are, thus far, just changing the numbers and doing their own thing.

Me too, but if I were designing it then it'd be a 16-team six-a-side with three days of group games and one day of playoffs from quarters through to the final.
Probably make entry be free as well for maximum rowdy crowds

The one thing I love is the six wicket rule here. My very own idea for a proper T10 league (if said format could be called proper) had just 5 wickets instead of the usual ten which would ensure teams actually prioritising their wickets a bit in comparison to the current fiascos and also allow for the inclusion of pure bowlers who are true bunnies or even a specialist keeper if they desire so.
