Woke up, saw the score and wasn't surprised. But was definitely surprised when I realized England won the toss and chose to bat first.

I wouldn't lose hope though. 1st Test is most likely out of England's grasp, but comebacks can be made.

England aren't winning this series, they look like weak losers compared to Aus side. I'd be surprised if its not 5-0 Australia
 
If we'd bowled first, I think we'd have rolled Australia too, even without Broad and Anderson. If Chris Woakes was ever gonna be a threat in Australia, it was yesterday morning under that sky, on that pitch.
 
Green pitch, overcast conditions, and a team that lost to India C last time they played a home series. And on top of that, you win the toss. How do you not play Anderson and Broad and bowl first?
