I can't see them dropping David Hussey, he is in to good of form, plus he can bowl a little, I would say Hodge or Voges will miss out in the batting department.

For those asking previously, in all the 20T matches ive seen at the G, theyve brought the rope in about 15 - 20m, however this was for domestic, im not sure about international

Michael Clarke (vc)
Adam Gilchrist (wk)
Ricky Ponting (c)
Andrew Symonds
Michael Hussey
David Hussey

I 2nd that..:D

I tend to think 5 pacemen is unnecessary, especially when you leave out good strikers like Hodge or Voges. Actually, they could use someone even more of a meat mallet like Aiden Blizzard. Basically, when you have 3, maybe even 5 guys who can feasibly bowl 2 overs, the 5th paceman is very redundant.

Who else are you gonna pick? Brad Hogg? Only if you wanna concede in excess of 10 an over. Hodge is gone there are too many other players. You should picked players on two factors, youth (27 max) or awesome skill. Hodge has neither. Hussey is an example of awesome skill whilst somene like Hilfenhaus is an example of both. If you pick Hodge he's just gonna be ordinary at best. Voges' case there's just no more room for a specialist batsmen especially with the likes of the Hussey brothers and Hopes whose batting mightn't match Voges but offers bowling incase Symonds or Clarke gets carted which seems very likely.

Good to see Hilfy back in the mix and David Hussey well and truely deserved that call up. Hodge well we can give him a 20/20 hit just not a ODI one hopefully.

I wouldn't say they're favorites. On par with the Aussies. But not favorites. Its hard to say who will win the 20 20 as its a game where anything can happen. I think it will be closely contested
It's a game where anything can happen but looking at past results it seems that an Indian victory happens. ;)

I think Praveen would bat ahead of Piyush:). He does open for UP and India A.

I can't wait for the players to be miced up again for the Twenty/20. Always a good laugh.
