The Ashes 2021/22

Will be great if England can hangout the remaining overs.

This phase is something which I love about test cricket the most, teams battling out for a draw in the last session of the test match.
Bigby strikes again! Is it that you see something happening and just post the opposite to call yourself a jinx King? :p

Let us wait & see if Australia wins though!

Nah, Just shut the hell up mate.**

Not every post of mine is reverse Jinxing.

Edit - **The first line is not meant to be raken with any offence. :cheers, just getting bored with people reactions to every post of mine with reverse Jinxing

You can imagine what the bowlers in the England team will think if they claw this one through :p

I need to go take a handful of blood pressure medication

One of the best seamers up against one of the best batsmen in the last over to decide the result of the match. Decent.

It's episode 83 of "Let's Guess What England's Best XI Would Be"

1. Opener - I still kinda rate Rory Burns here
2. Opener - Zak Crawley will play the next 30 Tests
3. Top Order Bat - I think I'd drop Malan. Bring back James Vince for memes
4. Top Order Bat - Joe Rooooot, but perhaps not as captain
5. Middle Order Bat - maybe don't let Rooty overbowl Ben Stokes
6. Middle Order Bat - Jonny Bairstow must play 100 Tests
7. Wicket-Keeper - obviously Ben Foakes
8. Seam Bowler - I'd pick Ollie Robinson over Broady
9. Swing Bowler - Jimmy Anderson is still the best here
10. Express Pace - the only fit one is Mark Wood
11. Spin Bowler - probably still Jack Leach I guess?

Honestly, imagine the pain of watching Crawley and Vince nicking off every week

Openers - not the most eloquent analogy but I think they just need to keep throwing s**t up against a wall until something sticks - Yates, Haines, Browne, Lees. I still think there is a test opener in Hameed but he just needs to get some form behind him.

Middle order - I'd give Livingstone a shot at 6 with Stokes at 5 and Bairstow at 7 (although these 3 are pretty interchangeable). That, with Foakes keeping in the Subcontinent and Root moving to 3. Again, I still think Dan Lawrence has a future at this level but needs some red ball runs. A notable mention also to Joe Clarke.

Fast bowling - Yuck. The cupboard is bare. Stone is never fit. Alternatives? Carse, Potts? Dunno beyond that.

Spinner - Surely time for Parkinson to have a go? Leach doesn't even give the control that the King of Spain used to. Outside that, Virdi or left field, Patterson-White.
